Configuring XSLT Transformer
Adeptia Connect provides two XSLT processors for transforming data mapping activity.
- SaxonÂ
- XalanÂ
Saxon transformer is much faster than Xalan. By default, Web Mapper selects the Saxon transformer to transform all of your new mapping activity. You can change the parser of any existing Data Mapping activity by the following step.
- In the Web Mapper screen, click Open > Preferences.
- In the Preferences dialog box, click XSL.
- Select Saxon from the XSL Transformer option.
- Click Done to save the mapping of the Web Mapper.
- On the Edit Data Mapping screen, click Save to save the mapping activity.
Changing Saxon to XalanÂ
If you wish to revert to the old transformer (Xalan Transformer) then do the following:
- In the Data Mapper screen, click Open > Preferences.
- In the  Preferences dialog box, click XSL.
- Select Xalon from the XSL Transformer option.
- A dialogue box will open to provide the information about impact of Changing the XSL transformer.
- Click OK.
Click Done to save the mapping activity.
Repeat the steps to change Xalan to Saxon.
Search Element in Source or Target layout Tree
At times, when the source or target layouts are quite large then searching an element can be very cumbersome. The Mapper interface eases this task by allowing you to search for an element in a source or target layout.
Steps to search an element in a source or target layout hierarchy
- Ensure that the source and destination layout are loaded and all their elements are listed under their respective nodes.
Click the search icon of Source or Target layout and enter the name of the element that you want to search in the text box. For example, if you want to search in the Source layout hierarchy, then select Source Tree option. Only one option can be selected at a time.
Alternately, you can press <Ctrl> + <F> on the keyboard.
