Installing JSCAPE MFT Gateway

To install JSCAPE MFT Gateway:
  1. Download JSCAPE MFT Gateway on a different server other than JSCAPE Failover setup.

  2. Double-click install.exe to install JSCAPE MFT Gateway.

  3. Follow the steps in the installation wizard and complete the installation process.

  4. During installation, in the Server management settings wizard, provide the values in the fields.



    Field NameDescription
    Host/IPHostname or IP address of the computer to install JSCAPE Gateway.
    PortPort number on which JSCAPE Gateway service runs, default is 20880. 
    Administrator loginLogin name to run the JSCAPE Gateway service as an administrator.
    Administrator passwordPassword for an administrator. 
    HTTP host/IPHostname or IP address of the computer where you are installing JSCAPE Gateway to access Gateway application over HTTP. 
    HTTP PortPort number on which you want to access the Gateway application through your browser over HTTP, default is 20881.
    If you are running any firewall software ensure that it is setup to allow JSCAPE MFT Gateway to run.
  5. After you install JSCAPE MFT Gateway, start the JSCAPE MFT Gateway service.

  6. Launch JSCAPE MFT Gateway. It will ask you for the credentials to log in to the Gateway Desktop manager.
