Configuring JSCAPE Services

You may have files dropped and picked from the network or shared drives while sending/receiving files from JSCAPE server. By default, JSCAPE server windows service is created with 'Local System' account which has limited permission and does not allow JSCAPE to interact with shared drives. You need to explicitly configure this setting.

To configure JSCAPE Windows Service:

  1. Press Windows + R to open Run service.
    The Run dialog box appears.
  2. Type services.msc in the text box and click OK.



    The Services window appears.
  3. Search the JSCAPE MFT Server in the window and right-click on it and select Properties. 



    The JSCAPE MFT Server Properties dialog box appears.
  4. Click Log On tab.
  5.  Select This account option and provide the account name and password for an administrator account in the Windows.



  6. Click Apply.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Restart JSCAPE services.
