Login to Adeptia Suite

Once the Kernel and WebRunner started successfully, its time to login to Adeptia Suite. Perform the following steps to login to Adeptia Suite. 

  1. Open the browser and visit the URL:

    http://<hostname>:8080/adeptia/control

    where hostname is the name of the server on which Adeptia Suite is running. The Adeptia Suite home page appears.

    For example, if Adeptia Suite is running on a Server named Adeptia, the URL will be http://adeptia:8080/adeptia/control/. If Adeptia Suite is running on the local machine, the URL will be http://<localhost>:8080/adeptia/control/.

  2. Type the username and password in the User Id and Password text boxes respectively.

    Adeptia Suite now supports, domain- specific login to reduce the login time for LDAP users. On the login screen, you have to provide the username as domain/username format.

    For example, user john has to enter the User Id as dev.adeptia.local\john.

  3. Click Log In.

  4. If you are a member of more than one group, a Group Name drop down appears.

  5. Select the name of the group from the list and click Log In. The Adeptia Suite Home Page appears with details associated with the selected user group.



    You can login and access the objects associated with one group at a time, being as a member of more than one group.
