Follow the below mentioned steps for your data mapping activity, while translating or generating HIPAA files through Inbound or Outbound process.

Steps to configure data mapping activity for HIPAA files:

  1. Create EDI Schema for HIPAA files.
  2. Load EDI Schema at Source/Target end in the Data Mapping as required.
  3. Change the Root for EDI Schema and select Root as EDI Root.
  4. Map elements as required.
  5. Save your Mapping activity.
