Creating a User Profile for the Domain

A user is a valid account that is used to login to a domain service. To create a user profile: 

1. Login to the JSCAPE MFT Server web interface.
2. Go to the Domains tab and select the domain created earlier.
3. After selecting the domain, click Edit. This will open a new window.
4. Select Users from the left menu and then click Add to add a new user for the domain.
   
   
   
   The User Template window appears.
5. Select the default template.
   
   
   
   
6. Click OK.
   The Add User window appears.
7. In the Info tab, provide the details – name, login name, and password for the user profile.
   
   
   
   
8. In the Paths tab, click Add.
   
   
   
   The Add Virtual Path window appears.
9. Provide the UNC path in the Real Path. UNC path is the network path to the shared drive where you want to store the files received through AS2 file transfer. For example, - \\ServerNameorIP\SharedFolderName. This will result in the creation of upload directory or JSCAPE at the specified network location.

10. Click OK.
    
    
    
    

    To have the UNC path recognized by the JSCAPE server, you need to have certain settings done for the windows service of the JSCAPE. For more information, click here.
11. Click OK.
    The user profile is created successfully.
