Accessing and Using a Web Form

Depending on the option chosen while creating a web form, you can access the form from one of the following - Partners, Transactions, Dashboard, My tab, and Web Page.

You can also use a web form to transfer data while creating a Template/Transaction.

Accessing a Web Form

Depending on the chosen navigation while creating a Web Form, you can go to the tab and access the Web Form. For instance, if you have selected Partner as a Navigation tab, click the Partner tab, and then click the web form from the left menu options. The form will appear on the right side of the screen.

If you have selected My Tab as a Navigation tab then you will find a new tab - My Solutions before the Partners tab. Click the My Solutions tab and then click the web form name from the left menu options.

Using a Web Form in a Template/Transaction

Following are the high-level steps to create a Template using Web Form. Click here for detailed instructions on how to create a Template.

To use a Web Form in a Template:

  1. Click Configure > Templates > Create Template.
  2. On the Create New Template screen, provide the name and description of the Template. The name should be a unique name and can be up to 48 characters long. The description of the Template can be up to 300 characters long.
  3. Click Continue.

  4. Select the Network for which you are creating the Template. To select multiple Networks from the drop-down list, click on the networks one by one. Only the Partners of the selected Network(s) will be able to access this Template.

  5. Click Next to choose the template type.
  6. Select File & Message from the template type, Inbound from the direction, and click Next.



  7. Click Next to configure the template settings.
  8. Click Next to define the additional parameters for the Partners.
  9. Click Add Parameter to define the parameters. 
  10. Click Next to select the Source application.
  11. Select Web Form as a Source application and click Next.



  12. Select the source data format and click Next.
  13. Select On Form Submit as a trigger and click Next. 



  14. Select the web form and click Next. Only activated and Template/Transaction type Web Forms will be populated.



  15. Select the destination application.
  16. Follow the steps and create a Template.
  17. Activate the Template.
  18. Create a transaction using this template.



  19. Select On Form Submit as a trigger while creating a Transaction.



  20. Activate the Transaction.
  21. Click  corresponding to the Transaction and click Run Now.



  22. The web form appears. Fill the details on the form and then click Submit. 



    The data of the form will be transferred to the Destination application selected in a Template.
