Migrating select objects from AC v3.x

Adeptia Connect allows you to seamlessly migrate select activities from an ACE v3.x to AC v4.x environment.

This page contains the following sections that guide you through the upgrade process.

Pre-requisites

Before you begin to migrate the objects, make sure you have already set up the AC v4.0 (GA) environment.
Ensure that you have followed the required steps to avoid the creation of rollback zip file while importing the objects at the target.

You can select the specific activities that you want to deploy at AC v4.x environment by using the migration utility in the AC v3.x environment.

Once you've met the pre-requisites, take the following actions to migrate the select activities.

Run the migration utility in AC v3.x environment.

Migration utility is supported on both Windows-based and Linux-based operating systems.
Create an exported zip file containing the specific activities that you want to deploy at AC v4.x environment.
Import the exported activities in the new environment (AC v4.x) by using the helm command.

To export the activities, you need to run the migration utility in the AC v3.x environment as instructed on the following page.

To import the activities, you need to set the path of the import.xml file in an environment variable and then use the helm command.
