Understanding System Console

The System Console page helps to diagnose the errors occurring while using Adeptia Connect. The warning messages will depend on the threshold values you have customized.

There are four types of information you can view in System Console: Report, Overview, Portal Nodes, and Server Nodes information. Additionally, in case of clustering nodes, corresponding sections with different IP address will also appear.

  • Report section displays the system health with errors and warnings. Following icons are shown as a status of system health:

    Icon

    Description

Execution is successful and system health is fine.
Warning when execution is partially completed or system health is reaching the threshold.
Errors while execution or system health has crossed the threshold.

    Report Section Name

    Description

LicenseDisplays the validity of the license.
Portal ClusterDisplays the status of portal cluster either enabled or disabled.
Server ClusterDisplays the status of server cluster either enabled or disabled.
SchedulerDisplays the status of scheduler either running or stopped. Also, displays information about threads and misfired events.
Backend DatabaseDisplays about backend database connection availability.
Log DatabaseDisplays about log database connection availability.
Process ExecutionDisplays optimization settings for the process flow.
Archive Log DatabaseDisplays about archival log database connection availability and status of log clean up.
System Info (Portal)Displays system information on which Portal is running.
System Info (Server)Displays system information on which Kernel, WebRunner, AIMap are running.
  • Overview section displays detailed information such as License Status, Portal Cluster, Server Cluster, Scheduler, Backend Database, Log Database, Process Execution, Archive Log Database, and more.

    Report Section Name

    Description

LicenseDisplays the validity of the license, version number, and build tag.
Portal ClusterDisplays the status of portal cluster either enabled or disabled.
Server ClusterDisplays the status of server cluster either enabled or disabled.
SchedulerDisplays the status of scheduler either running or stopped. Also, displays information about threads and misfired events.
Backend DatabaseDisplays about backend database connection availability and database used.
Log DatabaseDisplays about log database connection availability, database used, the number of records generated in different categories (Process Flow Logs, Event Logs, B2B Logs, and so on), and the status and time of execution of log cleanup.
Process ExecutionDisplays optimization settings for the process flow.
Archive Log DatabaseDisplays about archival log database connection availability, status and execution time of archival log clean up, and the number of records generated in the process flow and B2B logs.

In Process Execution section of Overview, Repository Disk Space activity displays the disk space details of PF Repository, SOAP Attachment, REST Attachment, and Other Application.

      • If you have configured the shared path then it shows disk space of shared repository.
      • If you have configured the different path for each property then it shows disk space of each path separately.
      • If you have configured the default path for each property then it shows disk space of default repository.

Repository disk space shows in Red color once it reaches the threshold value.

  • Portal Nodes section displays detailed information about System info and portal.

Red color in the bar signifies used memory and green color signifies available memory.

    Report Section Name

    Description

System InfoDisplays system information (CPU Usage, RAM, Memory, Operating System, Processor information, and the number of processors used).
PortalDisplays portal information (Status, Start time, Up time, Used memory, Live thread count, Deadlock thread count, and the Garbage collection information.

You can download the report by clicking Portal Report or Server Report displayed at the top-right corner of the page. The report is downloaded in the zip file containing installation log details, server files, and information of System Console page in JSON format.

  • Server Nodes section displays detailed information about System Info, Kernel, WebRunner, and AIMap.

Red color in the bar signifies used memory and green color signifies available memory.

    Report Section Name

    Description

System InfoDisplays system information (CPU Usage, RAM, Memory, Operating System, Processor information, and the number of processors used).
KernelDisplays Kernel information (Status, memory usage, different thread count information, and database pool information).
WebRunnerDisplays WebRunner information (Status, memory usage, different thread count information, and database pool information).
AIMapDisplays AIMap information (Status, memory usage, different thread count information, and database pool information).

You can download the report by clicking Portal Report or Server Report displayed at the top-right corner of the page. The report is downloaded in the zip file containing installation log details, server files, and information of System Console page in JSON format.

You will get an email notification on email ids provided in the abpm.diagnostics.notification.receiver.email property when a component's threshold reaches its specified limit. Here are the steps on how to set the email id(s) to receive email notifications.

In case of clustering, information of all active nodes will be in different sections in a single email.

You will get an email notification only for the following items:

    • License Expiry
    • Kernel Heap Memory
    • WebRunner Heap Memory
    • CPU Usage
    • RAM Usage
    • Disk Space
    • Kernel Backend Database Connection Count
    • Kernel Log Database Connection Count
    • WebRunner Backend Database Connection Count
    • WebRunner Log Database Connection Count
    • Database Table Record Size
