Adeptia's Web Services module has following two components:

  • Consumer
  • Provider

Since Web Services expose crucial business information online, their security is critical for the business. You can secure a web service by using a Security Policy activity. 

Enabling Kerberos Authentication

Pre-requisites

  • Kerberos (KDC) and Adeptia Server should be on the same domain.
  • While using consumer activity, end point URL of the web service must contain domain name instead of IP address.

Perform the following high level steps to use Kerberos Authentication while using Adeptia's Web Service Consumer or Provider activity:

  1. Configure your login module
  2. Configure Kerberos Settings
  3. Choose Kerberos type of authentication
