What's New in this Release?
- Support to create various events directly through Adeptia Connect
You can now create following events directly through Adeptia Connect earlier this was available only from Developer Studio:
- Support for File Reference activity in Adeptia Connect

- Updates in Handling Partner Parameters
Parameters feature has been upgraded to reflect the following changes:
- Expand and collapse view of parameters on run time
You can now expand or collapse the parameters option at run time when values are being given. Click here to know more about this feature.

- Parameter Validation
While creating a parameter, you can now also define the validations for the parameters. Click here to know more about this feature. - Unique Partner Parameter Values
You can now choose the value of the parameter to be unique. This prevents creating duplicate partners with the same values in a network. Click here to know more about this feature. - Change sequence of Network Parameters

Support for Auto generated Name for a Layout and Mapping
By using this enhancement, Adeptia Connect will automatically generate a default name for the layout in the Transaction if ‘Auto generate layout name and description’ checkbox is selected in template.- Support for Idle Logout Time in Adeptia Connect
Users can now set up idle logout time which logout users when the user performs no activity after a specified time duration. This feature improves the system security by assuring that Connect sessions do not stay active after the defined session time out. Using this enhancement, you can enable the external validation mapping option while creating a template. This feature helps to validate the mapping using a validation rule through an API. Click here to know how to use this feature. - Attaching External Map Function at Design Time

Adeptia Connect now supports to define the layout using data file through an interactive UI. For now, this is supported for the following two layouts under the Beta version. - Extending Permission Model for Custom Entities

With this enhancement, you can now define the list of layout and mapping at the template level which allow you to select the defined layout and mapping while configuring the transaction. - Support for generating PDF for a Process Flow

Adeptia Connect now supports the upgraded Third Party Jars to fix Remote Code Execution Vulnerabilities. - Support for EAR in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Transactions of Adeptia Connect
Adeptia Connect now supports EAR in EDI Transactions. This feature helps to encrypt the intermediate files during execution. - Support for EAR in Web Service Component (Consumer/Provider)
Adeptia Connect now supports EAR in web service components. This feature helps to encrypt the stored data in web attachment folder.
Bug Fixes
Following Bugs have been fixed in this release:
- The Partner will Define checkbox is not visible when Webform as a source is used while creating a Template.
- Issue with the alert message while deleting the user in Adeptia Connect.
- An Issue related to the selection of a destination app after changing the template type while creating a template.
- The Connect Portal fails to start after the Adeptia Connect installation on the Ubuntu environment.
- The Custom Template fails when salesforce is used as a trigger.
- Issue related to the selection of connector type in FTP event in Connect Server using Internet Explorer v9 and above.
- Issue related to Activation/Deactivation of the Transactions using the refresh icon.
- Issue related to the Theme Settings applied by Admin user for Partner on board.
- Business users were able to edit the transaction without having the edit permission.
- Issue while editing the EDI Configuration Settings for the activated partners.
- All the functions were disabled when opening the mapper window from the Web PD Interface.
- The process sheet option was not accessible from the user interface while creating Excel schema from Web PD.
- Issue related to proxy settings to consume RESTful Web Services using Web Service consumer in GBI.
- While using the context schema, the AIMap throws a string index out of bound error.
- Issue related to the handling of special characters while using Shopify as a Source.
