Figure 35: Solution Instances of Selected Solution

This section displays information of all instances of the selected process flow conforming to the specified date and time range (if specified). The screen displays a dynamic description of the instance. Click this instance to display the history of all tasks associated with this instance. Additionally, this section also displays the current status of the selected process flow instance, the name of the person who executed this instance, the start time of the instance and its total execution time.

The instances that are queued but not yet executed are not displayed in this section. However, they are included in the count of In-Progress column, in the Existing Solutions section.

At any time, you can terminate a process flow. To terminate the process flow, click Action . Two options are displayed to terminate the process flows (see Figure 36).

Figure 36: Terminate Process flow

Abort: Terminate the process flow gracefully.
Kill: Terminate the process flow forcefully.

When you terminate the process flow using any of the above options, a dialog box is displayed confirming that your request has been submitted (see Figure 37).

Rerun

You can execute your aborted process flows again through the Rerun feature. By default this feature is disabled, until you use Checkpoint actions in your process flow and enable rerun for the used checkpoints. After identifying the reason of the failure, you can rectify and rerun the process flow for successful execution. The process flows may be aborted due to any reason e.g., incorrect data mapping or schema definition.

To Rerun a process flow:

  1. Rectify the error.
  2. Click the Action  icon of the process flow that you want to execute again.
  3. Click Rerun.

For details, refer Rerun and Checkpoint section of the Developer Guide.
