You can compare the activities of the source and target environments and view the comparison of the new and modified activities only in the generated XML file.
Before you start comparing, ensure that you have run the Migration utility.
To compare objects:
- Type 2 to compare and press ENTER key.
- Type the location of the zip file with the zip file name that you want to compare with the target environment and press ENTER key.
- Provide the Adeptia Suite install directory till Adeptia Server folder from where you want to compare the objects and press ENTER key.
- Depending on the objects (Transactions, Templates, or Web Forms) in the specified zip, you need to select the object(s) to compare with the target environment. Select the objects and press ENTER key. You can separate multiple objects with a comma (,) or in the range (1-10) or a combination of both (1, 2, 5-10, 12-15, 20).
- Type the file location with the file name that will be created after objects comparison in XML format and press ENTER key.
- The utility starts comparing the objects. Once the source and target data are compared successfully, a message stating Object Comparison successfully done appears and an XML file is generated with the specified name and location.
