Steps for offline migration (Export/Backup)

Select Export/Backup Without Logs or Export/Backup With Logs radio button on the Offline Actions screen and click Next. This displays the Select Source Database screen (see Figure 48).

This section assists you in taking the backup of the objects. Before start taking the backup, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Offline Migration option on the Select the action window.

To take the backup:

  1. Select the directory where Adeptia Server is installed, for example, C:\Program Files\AdeptiaSuite\AdeptiaSuite-6.1<version>\AdeptiaServer and click Next.

    If you do not want to migrate the Logs, it is recommended to use Export/Backup Without Logs option.

    In case you have selected WebSphere Build, you need to select the AdeptiaSharedLibrary folder in the above step.

  2. Click Next. The Select Target Location screen is displayed.
  3. Click Browse to select Image Added

     

  4. Select the target location where the exported zip file will be saved (see Figure 49)and click Next.

  5. Click either Yes or No when prompted to include optional files in the backup then choose Yes, else No.

    InfoKernelApplication.log and WebrunnerApplication.log are the optional files. These files contain logs of Kernel and WebRunner.
  6. Click Next. This displays the View Backup Logs screen (see Figure 50).
