Export and Backup

This section assists you in taking the backup of the objects. Before start taking the backup, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Offline Migration option on the Select the action window.

To take the backup:

1. Select the directory where Adeptia Server is installed, for example, C:\Program Files\AdeptiaSuite\AdeptiaSuite-<version>\AdeptiaServer and click Next.

   

    

2. Select the target location where the exported zip file will be saved and click Next.

   

    

3. Click either Yes or No when prompted to include optional files in the backup. KernelApplication.log and WebrunnerApplication.log are the optional files.
   

   

    

4. The utility starts exporting the objects. If it is successful, a message stating "Backup created successfully" is displayed in the window and a zip file is created. In case of failure, it displays an error message and rollbacks the entire operation.
   
   
5. Click Finish to exit from the utility.
