Before you start using Adeptia Connect in the production environment, it should ideally pass through the development and staging phase phases to make sure ensure that it works the way you have planned. Therefore, it is recommended that you deploy the product in phases and while doing so you will be using the migration feature of Adeptia Connect. For instance, you can migrate activities from the development to the staging environment by following some simple and intuitive steps and the same holds true for the migration of activities from the staging to the production environment too.

You can use either of the following two methods to migrate the objects from one AC v4.x environment to another.

• Manual migrationUsing the Solution Promotion wizard
• Automated migration

Another scenario you may need to deal with is to migrate either select or all the objects from AC v3.x to AC v4.x environment.
