Following enhancements in Web Data Mapper help users to define complex mapping: - Variables in Data Mapper /wiki/spaces/AC2/pages/656554
- Streaming: This feature enables handling of large files (Gigabytes) in mapping by using the optimum resource.
- Filter Empty Elements: This option will help you to remove empty elements from the output. This helps to reduce the size of output file.
- Support for Namespace in Data Mapper
With this new feature, you can now manage and customize namespaces in XML layout. - Improved XML Validation
- You will now have an option to validate and parse the large (Gigabytes) XML files using Saxonica parser at runtime.
- You can now use the validation error report to correlate with source XML in order to find details on the error.
- A New Template for Partner to Partner (VAN) Data Exchange

Support of Creating Layouts and Value Maps from Manage Objects screen
You can now create layouts and value maps from the Manage Objects screen and use these while creating a Template or Transaction.
Support of Business Applications in Multiple Targets in a Custom Template
Now, you can use any business application for multiple targets in a custom template. Earlier, it was restricted to the target set as a destination with following applications: File, FTP, Database, JMS, Email, and Spazio MFT/s.
Dashboard to List all Sub Processes of a Post-Process Transaction
You can now view the list of all process flows and transactions called in a Post Process Transaction from the Dashboard screen.
Support to Configure Partner will Define this Step Option in a Template
With "Partner will define" feature, a company (while creating a template) can decide whether to let a partner provide the source/destination while creating an inbound/outbound transaction respectively. Earlier, only partner defines the Source and Destination in an Inbound and Outbound transaction.
Support to Extend Partner Definition
Now you can define the various parameters or other definition for a partner while adding them to the networkyou do a quality mapping and manage large data/files:

This new feature allows you sending files based on the content to your Partners. - Support to Create Network Parameters
Now you can define various parameters while adding a Network and configure the value of these parameters while adding a Partner. - Quick Access to Added Networks

Adeptia Connect now supports user authentication through LDAP server. Click here to know more. - Migration Utility in Linux and Non-interactive Mode
You can now migrate objects to a Linux based operating system and also in a non-interactive mode (silent installation). However, for non-interactive migration, users would need to provide information in the XML file to migrate objects. - Archival of Target Files in EDI
A new option Create Archive File is available in EDI Outbound Template and Transaction to create an archive of the generated output files. - Support for Manually Acknowledging Overdue 997 File
You can now manually change the FA Status of an Overdue acknowledgment by using the new Manual Acknowledgment option. - Support of ServiceNow Connector
Adeptia Connect now supports ServiceNow as a new application connector. - Create Custom Web Forms using a Web Page
You can now create a Web Form using a customized web page. You need to deploy the customized web page on the same server where Adeptia Connect is deployed to use it in Adeptia Connect.
Bug Fixes
Following is the list of bugs that have been fixed in this release:
- Dashboard does not show new EDI X12 transactions after clicking the refresh button.
- Partner logo does not appear while viewing execution details of EDI inbound transactions from the Dashboard screen.
- Unable to export WSDL files while exporting a Template that uses SOAP application at the Destination.
- In a Custom template, while creating a REST account, post data as an attachment is displayed with GET method instead of POST/PUT method.
- While editing a Transaction created using a pre-built Data Integration Template, user had to select the Partner again that was already selected while creating a Transaction.
- No alert message is shown when a value map being used in a template or transaction is deleted
A Mapping created in Adeptia Connect if edited or saved in the Developer's Studio (AIS) displays the following error - 'null is not allowed'.
REST accounts created in Adeptia Connect are not visible from the Manage Objects screen.
Excel Schema could not be created from the Manage Objects screen.
Folder location and target schema layout options are not displayed when a user selects Upload File to Bucket action while creating a Transaction with Target as Amazon S3 application.
If a user creates a Template or Transaction using a business application at the Destination on Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, and you apply an expression on the mapping wizard, then the expression is saved but is not displayed on the screen.
- If there is no process flow in the dropdown list while creating a Custom Template, then it displays the following error message: String Index Out Of Bound Exception.
- In a Custom Template, if a Process Flow is using File Polling activity multiple times then Transaction is always displayed in Running status on the Dashboard.
- No reference list is displayed in the Reference Field of the mapping screen while creating a Transaction from a Custom Outbound Template with a Business application at Destination.
