Selecting the option ‘Objects based on Service Type’ helps you export all the activities along with their dependencies based on the selected service type.
Perform the following steps to export the objects of a specific service type:
- Type 2 to export the objects based on a service type and press ENTER key.
Select the service type and press ENTER key.
Select filter criteria for object export. Type 1 to define Select comparison operator and press ENTER key.
You can skip this step by pressing ENTER key.If you select < as Select comparison operator then it will include all the objects in the export file that are less than the date specified as last modified date.
If you select > as Select comparison operator then it will include all the objects in the export file that are greater than the date specified as last modified date.
- Type the directory to save the exported file with the zip file name and press ENTER key. You can export the objects in a zip file only. Therefore, it is recommended to give the file name in the zip file format.
- The utility starts exporting the objects. A message "Export completed successfully" appears confirming objects have been exported successfully. In case of failure, it displays an error message and rollbacks the entire operation.
