Export and Backup - Linux

This section details how to export or take the backup of the objects. Before you start, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Migration option to migrate the objects.

1. Type 1 to Export/Backup Without Logs and press ENTER.
   
   
   
   

2. Provide the source system directory where Adeptia Connect is installed (till Adeptia Server) and press ENTER. 

3. Type the target directory to save the exported file. The objects can be exported in a zip file only. It is recommended to give the file name in the zip file format.
   
   
   
   
4. Type Y or N to store the backup of the original files and press ENTER.
5. The utility starts migrating the objects. A message "Backup completed successfully" appears confirming objects have been migrated successfully. In case of failure, it displays an error message and rollbacks the entire operation.

6. Press ENTER to exit from the utility.
