This feature migrates objects from the currently installed version to a new upgraded version. This process also allows you to take a backup of all the objects and configuration files from the current installation and restore them whenever required.

The Offline Migration process is used for migrating objects when the source and target database are not connected at the same time. It is also used to take the backup of the objects. For instance, you can use Migration option to transfer the data while upgrading from your current version to the new version.

You can use the Migration process to insert objects from the source database to the target database. However, you cannot update the objects in the target database.

Before start migrating, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Migration option on the Select the action window.

After selecting the option, you need to select the action that you want to perform.
