Review the generated report and navigate to the specified sheets. It may be necessary to manually address any instances of duplicate email addresses, group admin emails, Sysadmin-created users, projects, and groups.
Object Correction - Changes in the Verification file
Step-1 (Sheet-1 [Users having same email ID])
In this sheet there is two types of user
Bundle user – There is no need for action on these items as they are components of the product that may be duplicated, such as ediuser@edi.com.
User-built users - User-created accounts must not be replicated. It is essential to request customers to furnish a distinctive email address and input it into the designated "New Email" column, as illustrated in the screenshot below.
Step-2 (Sheet-2 [Entities having the same name])
To ensure seamless operation, it is essential to verify that each entity is distinct when modifying the NewEntityName column. As illustrated in the screenshot, duplicates will not be permitted.
Step-3 Sheet-3 (Entities Created by SysAdmin)
All objects from the Sys-admin account need to be transferred to the New User Account by creating a group, user, and project.
There are two approaches to moving objects created by the SysAdmin user.
Approach 1: Move objects from the Admin user.
Proceed to the sys-admin user and click on “Move Objects”.
Choose Projects, followed by Activities, then select the Group Admin/Developer user that has been created. Subsequently, all groups associated with that user will be showcased. Select the group and proceed to view all projects linked to that specific group before selecting the project.
This action will transfer all entities generated by the sys-admin user to the designated recipient. Upon completion of this process, adjustments will be made to the Owner, Project, and Group of these activities accordingly.
Approach 2: Move objects from projects
Navigate to Develop -> Projects and select each project individually. Then, transfer the Activities to the newly established Group Admin user, group, and project.
Step 3.1 [Create New Group] :
Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup -> Group -> Create New
Example:. Group Admin name – Adpeita_Migration
Step 3.2 - Create New User
Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup -> User -> Create New User
Bind this user with the created group Example Username – AdpeitaMigration Password – Indigo1
Select the newly created Group Name in Group as shown in the screenshot.
Save it & Logout.
Step 3.3 – Create New Project
Login with newly created user:
We are login using the same user account that we created earlier Username: AdpetiaMigration Password: Indigo1

Login with the newly created user, We will log in using the same user account that we created earlier Example: Username: AdpetiaMigration Password: Indigo1
Create new project Example: Adeptiamigraiton
Logout & log in as admin again
Step 3.4 – Change User Project
Login as Admin
Go to Administrator -> Setup -> User
Right-click on a previously created user from the user list
Right-click -> Edit -> Change project from Default to newly created project (e.g. AdeptiaMigration) as shown in the screenshot:
Step 4 – Entry the GroupEnitityID
Login as Admin – Go to administrator -> Group -> view newly created group
Copy GroupEntityID as shown in the screenshot
Go to the report file and paste the copied GroupEntityID to the New GroupId column as shown in the screenshot:
Step 5 –Entry ProjectEntityID
Copy ProjectEntityID as shown in the screenshot here.
Paste the copied project ID into the NewProjectId Column as shown in the screenshot.
Step 6 –Entry UserEntityId
Copy New UserEntityId as shown in the screenshot
Paste the copied UserEntityID into the New User Entity ID Column as shown in the screenshot
Note: Ensure the value is not converted to any other format, and as a best practice, delete all unnecessary rows and columns from the Excel sheet before uploading
Step 7 – Changes update
After making changes we need to import the changes.
Open
importchecklist.properties
file from ..AdeptiaServer\ServerKernel\MigrationUtility
locationProvide the address of AdeptiaServer and the location of the verification sheet in which we have updated the Group, Project, and User ID
Save file.
Run the MigrationUtlity.bat file form .
.AdeptiaServer/Server
location to update changes.
MigrationUtility.bat -importchecklist migrationutility/importchecklist.properties
Step 8 – Generate Verification Report
Run
MigrationUtility.bat -aistoacverification migrationutility/aistoacverification.properties
to generate a report again to see if the changes have been effected or not.Go to the report location and analyze the file again, if everything goes fine there shouldn’t be duplicates in the excel report as shown in the screenshot.
If your reports don't have duplicates then you extract the object from AIS and ready to deploy to AC.
