EDI Transaction logs

Once you execute an EDI Transaction, you can check for the corresponding Transaction logs created in the application. You can have an overview or take a detailed look at them by navigating to the logs section, as explained herein.

Overview of EDI Transaction logs

You can see the graphical representation of the EDI Transaction logs by selecting Dashboard and then the EDI tab on the Adeptia Connect home page. The following sample screenshot gives you an idea about the high-level details the Dashboard displays for the EDI Transactions.

Detailed logs for EDI Transactions

EDI dashboard also displays detailed information related to the execution of your EDI Transactions. You can verify the status of the Transaction execution, execution details, errors occurred during execution, error details, etc.

When GAC is enabled:

  • You can see the details on the EDI dashboard based on the network and the role you have been assigned.

  • The sensitive information in some of the fields in the EDI logs is masked for an unauthorized user if the View User Data check box is unchecked while defining the permissions for that user.

To view the detailed logs of EDI Transactions:

  1. Click Dashboard tab on the home page.

  2. On the Dashboard screen, click Transactions in the left panel.

  3. Click All Messages, and then select EDI X12 Interchanges or EDI X12 Messages based on your requirement.

The following sections contain the execution details of the EDI X12 Interchanges and EDI X12 Messages.

All the EDI X12 Interchanges (executed successfully or aborted) are displayed in this section. To view only aborted X12 Interchanges, click Errors.
