Defining a Custom Inbound Target Layout

After you have provided the definition of the Target application, the next step would be to define the target layout. This screen appears if you have selected to define the target layout while creating a Template.

Target data format is the format in which you want the target file, for example, text, excel. Target data layout is the layout of the target file. 

To select the target layout:

1. Select the data format from the following - Text, Advanced Text, Excel, Positional, Advanced Positional, JSON, and XML.

2. Select the data layout. You can either use an existing layout or create a new one. Click Unknown Attachment to create a new layout. For information on how to create a new layout, refer to Appendix A: File Layouts.

3. Click Next to provide the definition of the next activity.
