A user can register on Adeptia Connect through an invitation only. Company admin after setting up a company, adds an user, and sends an activation email. Users that are registered in Adeptia Connect will be of two types:
- IT Users
- Business Users
A table at the end of this page lists detailed information on user roles.
To invite a user:
- Click Account > Users.
- Click Invite Users.
Type the email id of the user in the Provide user email text box.
The email id is used to register user and to activate the account.- Select the user role (IT or Business) from the Select Role drop-down.
- Type the message in the Note text box.
- Click Send. This will send an account activation email to the user.
Activating Account
To activate account:
- Access your inbox.
- Open the email received from Adeptia and click Activate My Account. You will be asked to complete your registration.
- Fill the details in the registration form and click Complete Registration.
Your account is activated successfully. Login to Adeptia Connect.
After the user account is activated successfully, it will get listed in the list of existing user's list.
User Roles
The users' rights may vary depending upon the their role defined at a company level or at a partner level. For example, the privileges assigned to an IT user of a Company may be different to that of a Partner. The following table lists the privileges in more detail:
