Web Forms are so simple to use that a business user can easily create it by adding controls, customizing the appearance and layout, and adding rules that decide the behavior of the form. Sencha Architect helps to design Web Forms which can be used to configure Web Forms in Adeptia Connect. Web Forms is an interactive feature that allows you to create a form to transfer data from a source to destination.

Using Sencha Architect

Use Sencha Architect to design a Web Form. There are two use of Sencha Architect:

  1. To design a Web Form which can be used in transaction and template.
  2. To design a custom page which can be published as a link at defined navigation path like Pantner and Dashboard tab. 

Designing a Web Form

  1. Install Sencha Architect on your machine.
  2. Open the Sencha Architect and click plus(+) button on the top left corner.
  3. Design a form by using Sencha drag-and-drop feature. Choose components from the left hand panel and drop them on the center canvas.
  4. Provide the configuration properties to the components like min. length, max. length, allow blank, blank text, and validation.
  5. Click Save.
  6. Copy the folder created from step 4 and place it directly into web-apps folder of application.
