EDI Transaction log is used to track EDI transaction sets that are going in and out.  

Perform the following steps to view EDI Transaction logs:

  1. On the Monitor tab, go to History > B2B logs.

  2. From the left menu, select the data format for which you want to view the logs. The available options are:

    • All
    • X12
    • EDIFACT
    • Others (Non-EDI): To track Non-EDI data exchange.
  3. Type or select the start date and time in From and hr text boxes respectively.
  4. Type or select the end date and time in To and hr text boxes respectively.

  5. Select whether you want to view logs for Inbound messages or Outbound messages from the Select Direction. This option is applicable only for X12, EDI HIPAA, and EDIFACT message format.

  6. To search the interchange log based on the search criteria, select the criteria from the Select drop-down list box and type the value in the text box adjacent to it. The available search criteria options are Sender ID, Receiver ID, Record ID, Partner Name, Transmission ID, Document Type, Status.

  7. Select View Archive check box to view archived logs.

  8. Click Search to view the logs of given time interval. Transaction logs of the selected time interval are displayed.

  9. Select the log to view EDI Transaction logs and click View Data.



  10. The EDI Transaction Log window appears, in a separate window, listing the details of the log.



If any transaction set is not processed successfully, its status is displayed as an ERROR in the EDI Transaction Log. To view the details of an error, select the transaction set and click TranslationError.

To view the segments of a transaction set, select the transaction on EDI Transaction Log page and click Transaction Set.

To view detailed logs of the process flow instance executed to process any particular transaction, select the transaction and click Audit Log. Process Flow log is helpful in case any transaction is not processed properly.

Rerun

Re-runs the aborted EDI Transaction after rectifying an error. You can only Re-run the Transaction till the time its reprocessing file is available and not deleted by the cleanup job. To rerun, select the log and click Rerun.
