To use Zoho CRM as a Source or Destination in a Template or Transaction, you need to perform the following actions:
- Creating a Zoho CRM account.
- Registering Adeptia Connect with Zoho CRM, and obtaining the API Key and API Secret Key.
- Connecting Zoho CRM with Adeptia Connect.
Creating a Zoho CRM account
Click Create New Account - zoho.com to open Zoho CRM sign up page on your browser.
Provide a valid email address and assign a password in corresponding fields.
Select the checkbox, and click SIGN UP FOR FREE.
Registering Adeptia Connect with Zoho CRM
Sign in to your Zoho account, and navigate to the Zoho API Console by using the URL https://api-console.zoho.com/
Click ADD CLIENT. This opens Choose a Client Type screen on the console.
Click Server-based Applications.
Provide the following information:
Field Name | Description |

Client Name | Provide a name by which you want to register Adeptia Connect with Zoho CRM. |
Homepage URL | Provide Home page URL. |
Authorized Redirect URIs | https://<Server Name:Port Number>/rest/applications/zohocrm/account NOTE Replace <Server Name:Port Number> with the server and the port number. |
Click CREATE to register Adeptia Connect.
You'll see two additional tabs – Client Secret and Settings.
On the Client Secret tab, the keys in Client ID and Client Secret fields correspond to API Key and API Secret Key respectively.
Click the icon to copy the keys as they'd be required while connecting Zoho CRM with Adeptia Connect.
Connecting Zoho CRM with Adeptia Connect
While creating a Template or Transaction, configuring the Source or Destination by using an account connects your application with Adeptia Connect.
You can create the account by clicking the sign.
Specify the following information:
Field Name | Description |

Account Name | A short, descriptive name that helps you re-use this account in future. |
API Key | Client ID key obtained after registering Adeptia Connect with Zoho CRM. |
API Secret Key | Client Secret key obtained after registering Adeptia Connect with Zoho CRM. |
Click Save, and you'll be redirected to Zoho CRM login page.
Enter your Zoho CRM login credentials to sign in, and the application will be connected.
Triggers
A Trigger specifies when a particular Transaction will start executing. While configuring the Source of a Template, you need to choose an event.
