To test a layout, you need to upload a source file. When a layout is tested, it parses the uploaded file as per the structure defined in the layout and generates the output and error files.
Follow the below steps to test a PDF Layout:
- Click the Test Layout icon
from the toolbar. 
- Click Upload Test File button
at the bottom-right corner. - Navigate to and upload a PDF file.
This will test and display the uploaded file according to the defined layout. - You can view the the error records by clicking Error View tab.
You can also download the XML file by clicking the Download XML button (
) at the bottom-left corner.
