You can use an Advanced Text file to define the structure of your Source or Destination layout. An Advanced Text file refers to a text file that can have multiple record formats and field separators. To create an Advanced Text File Layout, you need to specify the format of the text file.

To create an Advanced Text file layout:

  1. Select Advanced Text from the source data format drop-down list.
  2. Click  to create an Advanced Text layout from the source data layout. 



  3. On the Create Layout window, provide the details of the layout. For information about the fields of the layout, click here.



  4. Click Save to save the Advanced Text layout.
