Polling services allow the Process Flow to 'wait' and 'listen' to a defined location at which a specific file, mail or data is to be arrived arrive or to be modified before the execution of next activity. The Polling Services perform the 'listen' action at a frequency specified while creating the polling activity.

There are four types of Polling Services:

• Database Polling Activity
• File Polling ActivityPolling 
• FTP Polling ActivityPolling 
• Mail Polling Activity
