Steps for offline migration (Export/Backup)

This section details how to export or take the backup of the objects. Before you start, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Migration option to migrate the objects.
Type either 1 or 2 to Export/Backup Without Logs or Export/Backup With Logs radio button on the Offline Actions screen and click Next. This displays the Select Source Database screen (see Figure 48).

Info If you do not want to migrate the Logs, it is recommended to use Export/Backup Without Logs option.
Info In case you have selected WebSphere Build, you need to select the AdeptiaSharedLibrary folder in the above step.
- Click Next. The Select Target Location screen is displayed.
- If you want to include optional files in the backup then choose Yes, else No.
Info KernelApplication.log and WebrunnerApplication.log are the optional files. These files contain logs of Kernel and WebRunner.
- Click Next. This displays the View Backup Logs screen (see Figure 50).
Click Browse to select the target location where the exported zip file will be saved (see Figure 49).

- Type the target directory to save the exported file. The objects can be exported in a zip file only. It is recommended to give the file name in the zip file format.
- Type Y or N to store the backup of the optional files and press ENTER.
- The utility starts migrating the objects. A message "Backup completed successfully" appears confirming objects have been migrated successfully. In case of failure, it displays an error message
