To You can disable the Plain FTP option from the window, We will add a property plain FTP by updating the value for abpm.ftp.plainFtp.enable inside the subgroup(Common Configuration) of group(FTP Protocols Configuration) in the server-configure.properties file.

Disabling the plain FTP

Follow the steps below to disable the plain FTP:

1. Click Accounts > Settings.
2. Expand Server Node Settings on the left panel.
3. Click the primary node.
4. Click Edit located on the top right of the screen.
5. Expand Services > FTP Protocols Configuration > Common Configuration. 
6. Set the value to false for abpm.ftp.plainFtp.enable property

3. Click Reload configuration to commit the change.
4. Restart the Connect Server.

Impact of disabling the plain FTP

Changing the property value to false will have the following impacts on other settings:

• While creating the FTP account, the default Security Type will be pre-selected as SFTP (SSH)
• And  Security Type "None" will be disabled
• And the Create FTP GUI will be look like,

• If the abpm.ftp.plainFtp.enable property is false then, We . The option None will be greyed out.
• You will not able to copy Copy the already existed existing Plain FTP Accounts account from the Transaction/Template Wizard and from the Configure Page Also.

• If the plain FTP option is disabled and we create any of the below mentioned activities by default SFTP Security Type will be selected,template or transaction wizard and also from the FTP manage page.
• By default, SFTP check box will be selected as a security type while creating the following services:
  • FTP Event
  • FTP Source
  • FTP Target
  • FTP Polling

• If we deselect the SFTP option then automatically FTPS  Security Type will be selected or vice-versa, We can't deselect both the check-boxes.

• Tip
  In case you clear the SFTP check box, the FTPS security type will get selected automatically and vice-versa.
