Steps to create a Complex Event

  1. On the Adeptia Suite homepage menu, click the Develop tab.
  2. Go to Go to Develop > Events > Complex Event.
    The Manage Complex Event screen is displayedappears.

  3. Click the Create New link. The Create Complex Event screen is displayed.

     

  4. Enter Provide the name and description of the new Complex Event activity in the Name and Description text boxes respectively.
  5. Write the java code in the textbox the Script text box.

  6. Enter Select the date on which Complex event will stop triggering , in the Event Expiry Date field. The date must be in MM/dd/yyyy format. Click the Calendar icon and select the required date from the calendar.
  7. Enter Provide the expiry time from the Time dropdown lists drop-down list.
  8. Enter Provide the time interval , when the Complex event checks the database Server in the Polling Frequency field. Enter the digit in the Frequency field and select the unit of time i.e. , that is, seconds, minutes or hours etc. from the Duration dropdown list.
