This section details how to export or take the backup of the objects. Before you start, ensure that you have run the Migration utility and selected Migration option to migrate the objects.

  1. Type 1 to EXPORT/BACKUP Without Logs and press ENTER.

  2. Type 1 to select EXPORT/BACKUP Without Quartz Tables that export objects without creating backup of the Quartz Table. Press ENTER.

    Tip

    Type 2 if you want to select EXPORT/BACKUP With Quartz Tables to create backup of the Quartz Table while exporting the objects. Press ENTER.

  3. Type 1 to select EXPORT/BACKUP Without Repository files which exports only the configuration files and source objects, and skips exporting the Process Flow repository files. Press ENTER.

    Tip

    To select EXPORT/BACKUP With Repository files which exports the configuration files and source objects including the Process Flow repository files, Type 2. Press ENTER.

  4. Provide the source system directory where Adeptia Connect is installed (till Adeptia Server) and press ENTER. 

  5. Type the target directory to save the exported file. The objects can be exported in a zip file only. It is recommended to give the file name in the zip file format.

  6. Type Y or N to store the backup of the original files and press ENTER.
  7. The utility starts migrating the objects. A message "Backup completed successfully" appears confirming objects have been migrated successfully. In case of failure, it displays an error message and rollbacks the entire operation.
  8. Press ENTER to exit from the utility.
