Step-2  (Sheet-2 [Entities having same name])

To ensure seamless operation, it is essential to verify that each entity is distinct when modifying the NewEntityName column. As illustrated in the screenshot, duplicates will not be permitted.

Step-3 Sheet-3 (Entities Created by SysAdmin)

All objects from the Sys-admin account need to be transferred to the New User Account by creating a group, user, and project.

There are two approaches to moving objects created by the SysAdmin user.

Approach 1: Move objects from admin user.

  1. Go to sys-admin user and click on “Move Objects”.

  2. Select Projects, then activities, then select Group Admin/Developer user you have created. Then all groups of that user will be displayed. Select the group. Then all projects belongs to that group will be displayed. Select the project.

  3. This will move all entities created by sys-admin user to that user. After moving the activities Owner, Project and Group of that activities will be changed.

Approach 2: Move objects from projects

  1. Go to Develop -> Projects -> Pickup one by one all projects -> Move Activities to the newly created Group Admin user, group and project.

Step 3.1 [Create New Group] :

  1. Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup  -> Group -> Create New

      Example:. Group Admin name – Adpeita_Migration

Step 3.2 - Create New User

  1. Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup  -> User -> Create New User

  2. Bind this user with created group Example Username – AdpeitaMigration  Password – Indigo1

  1. Select the newly created Group Name in Group as showing in screenshot. 

  2. Save it & Logout.
