Object Correction - Changes in Verification file

Step-1 (Sheet-1 [Users having same email IDId])

In this document, there are sheet here is two types of users.user

  1. Bundle user – These are inherent to the product and may We don’t need to do anything with this as these are part of the product that could be duplicated, such as like ediuser@edi.com.

  2. User - built users - User-built users cannot be duplicated. We should request need to ask the customer's to furnish a provide unique email and then update it in the " New Email " column , as illustrated shown in the screenshot below.

Step-2  (Sheet-2 [Entities having the same name])

To ensure seamless operation, it is essential to verify that each entity is distinct when modifying the NewEntityName column. As illustrated in the screenshot, duplicates will not be permitted.

Step-3 Sheet-3 (Entities Created by SysAdmin)

All objects from the Sys-admin account need to be transferred to the New User Account by creating a group, user, and project.

There are two approaches to moving objects created by the SysAdmin user.

Approach 1: Move objects from the Admin admin user.

  1. Navigate Go to the sys-admin user and click on “Move Objects”.

  2. Choose Select Projects, then Activitiesactivities, and then select the Group Admin/Developer user that you have created. This will display Then all groups associated with of that user will be displayed. Select the group, and . Then all projects linked belongs to that group will be showndisplayed. Proceed to select Select the project.

  3. This action will transfer move all entities created by the sys-admin user to the selected that user. After moving the transfer, the activities Owner, Project , and Group of those that activities will be updatedchanged.

Approach 2: Move objects from projects

  1. Go to Develop -> Projects -> Select each project individually Pickup one by one all projects -> Transfer Move Activities to the newly created Group Admin user, group , and project.

Step 3.1 [Create New Group] :

  1. Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup  -> Group -> Create New

      Example:. Group Admin Name name – Adpeita_Migration

Step 3.2 - Create New User

  1. Login as Admin in Adeptia Suite -> Go to Administrator -> Setup  -> User -> Create New User

  2. Bind this user with the created group Example Username – AdpeitaMigration  Password – Indigo1

  1. Select the newly created Group Name in Group as showing in screenshot. 

  2. Save it & Logout.

Step 3.4 – Change User Project  

  1. Login as Admin

  2. Go to Administrator -> Setup -> User

  3. Right - click on a previously created user from the user list

  4. Right - click -> Edit -> Change project from Default to newly new created project (e.g. AdeptiaMigration) as shown in the screenshot:

Step 4 – Entry the GroupEnitityID

  1. Login as Admin – Go to administrator -> Group  -> view newly created group

  2. Copy GroupEntityID as shown in screenshot

  1. Go to report file and paste copied GroupEntityID to New GroupId column as shown in screenshot:

Step 5  –Entry ProjectEntityID

Note: Ensure the value is not converted to any other format, and as a best practice, delete all unnecessary rows and columns from the Excel sheet before uploading

Step 7 –Changes – Changes update

After making doing changes we need to update it as well .

  1. Open importchecklist.properties file from ..AdeptiaServer\ServerKernel\MigrationUtility location

  2. Provide the address of AdeptiaServer and the location of the verification sheet in which we have updated the Group, Project, and  User ID Id 

  3. Save file.

  1. Run the MigrationUtlity.bat file form ..AdeptiaServer/Server location to update changes.

Step 7 8 – Generate Verification Report

  1. RunMigrationUtility.bat -aistoacverification migrationutility/aistoacverification.properties to generate a report again to see if the changes have been effected or not.

  2. Go to the report location and analyze the file again, if everything goes fine there shouldn’t be duplicates in the excel report as shown in the screenshot.

If your reports don't have duplicates then you extract the object from AIS and ready to deploy to AC.
