In order to test a layout, you have to upload another source file. When a layout is tested, it parses the uploaded file as per the structure defined in the layout and generates the output and error files.
Follow the below steps to test the positional layouta PDF Layout:
- Click the Test layout Layout icon
button from from the toolbar. By default, this displays the defined positional layout which are parsed successfully in XML View tab.
- Click Upload Test File
button and browse the file which you want to uploadFile button at the bottom-right corner. - Navigate to and upload the PDF file you used for creating the layout.
This will test and display the uploaded file according to the defined layout. - You can view the the error records by clicking Error View tab.
You can also download the XML file by clicking the Download XML 
buttonbutton (
) at the bottom-left corner.
