Field (Account) Information

While configuring the Source or Destination of a Transaction, you find an Account option to configure your application with Adeptia Connect. Using Account configuration, you specify the location from where the data is to be accessed. In this process, you enter the details of the application account, to grant permission for data access.

Specify the following information for HubSpot: 

 

 

Field

Description

Account Name

A short, descriptive name that helps you re-use this account in future.

Access Information

Your HubSpot ID. Login to your HubSpot account and look at the upper right corner to know your ID.

After logging into HubSpot, your ID is on the upper right corner as shown in the following example: 


Triggers

A Trigger specifies when a particular Transaction will start executing. While configuring the Source application, you find a Trigger drop-down list. 

When HubSpot is the Source application, the following trigger is available:

New Contact

New COS Blog PostTriggers when you add or modify a blog post.
New COS Blog PageTriggers when you add or modify a template blog page.

Actions

An Action specifies how the data will be transferred at the destination location. While configuring the Destination (Target) application, you find an Action drop-down list. 

When HubSpot is the destination application, the following actions are available:

Create Contact

Creates a contact. Every person who interacts with your business is a contact. See http://knowledge.hubspot.com/contacts-user-guide/quick-tour-of-contacts-contact-properties-and-lists.

Update ContactUpdates the information for a contact.
Delete ContactDeletes a contact.
Create Contact List

Creates a contact list with multiple properties. For example, you might want to create a contact list of only your suppliers, and another list of your customers.

When you create a dynamic contact list, contacts (who satisfy all properties of this dynamic list) will also be automatically added to the list.

Update Contact ListUpdates a contact list.
Delete Contact ListDeletes a contact list. Contacts are not deleted. Contacts are removed from the list before the list is deleted.
Add Contact To ListAdds a contact to a list. A contact can be added to multiple lists by sending the same contact with a different list name.
Remove Contact From ListRemoves a contact from a list. If a contact is part of a workflow, the actions associated with the contact will not be performed.
Enroll Contact Into Workflow

Enrolls a contact into a workflow.

A workflow is an automated set of marketing actions that execute, based upon a starting condition.

Some examples of workflow actions include:

  • Sending out a follow-up email with your promised offer when a contact fills out certain forms with a valid email address.

  • Sending out reminder emails for your upcoming webinar or conference with follow up emails after the event.
Withdraw Contact From WorkflowDeletes a contact from a workflow.
Create COS Blog PostCreates a COS blog post.
Update COS Blog PostUpdates a COS blog post.
Delete COS Blog PostDeletes a COS blog post.
Create CompanyCreates a company.
Update CompanyUpdates the information for a company.
Delete CompanyDeletes a company. If a contact is a part of a company, the contact is not deleted. The company is deleted and will not be available for that contact anymore.
Create Broadcast MessageCreates a broadcast message such as for posting on Facebook or Twitter. The message can be posted immediately or at a specified time in the future.
