When you need to upgrade to the latest version of Adeptia Connect, you need to apply the respective patch (for example, Adeptia Connect v3.7 patch) and follow the guidelines provided in this section.
This section discusses the possible upgrade path laid out in the following table.

Prerequisites
Before you apply this patch, ensure that:
- You have minimum of 2048 MB of free disc space available on your system.
- You have referred to the database permission details in this page.
Licensing
If you are upgrading from AC v3.6.11 or v3.7, the license update is optional. However, if you do not update the license after applying the patch, the application will keep showing you the last version of the product instead of v3.7.
If you are upgrading from AC v3.5.24, the license update is required. You should get the latest license before applying the patch.

Applying patch
Adeptia Connect patch has two components namely Connect Server and Connect Portal.
You should apply the patch in following given sequence:
- Apply Connect Server patch
- Apply Connect Portal patch
