This section assists you on how to run the Migration utility on a Linux-based operating system.

  1. Open the Terminal and go to the ServerKernel directory.
  2. Run the following command to start the Migration utility and press ENTER key.

    ./migrationutility.sh –console
  3. Type 2 and press ENTER key.



  4. Select the migration operation and press ENTER key. Type 1 to EXPORT, 2 to COMPARE, or 3 to DEPLOY.

    Migration Operation NameDescription
    EXPORTUse this action to export Transactions, Templates, and Web Forms from one source environment to another in a zip format.
    COMPAREUse this action to select objects from the exported zip file and compare them with the target environment. You can view the comparison of the new and modified activities only in the generated XML file.
    DEPLOYUse this action to deploy the exported zip file in the target environment.
