Starting Adeptia Suite - Clustering Mode

From Adeptia Suite version 5.3 onward, you need to make sure that Kernel and Webrunner on one node must be started completely before you start them on another node. This section will let you know how to start Adeptia Suite in Clustering mode in Windows-based and Linux-based operating system.

On Windows

Perform the following steps to start Adeptia Suite in Clustering Mode on Windows:

  1. Go to .../AdeptiaSuite/bin folder.
  2. Double click Kernel.exe and WebRunner.exe to start the Kernel and WebRunner.
  3. Wait until the Kernel and WebRunner on the node is started completely.
  4. Repeat the above steps to start Kernel and WebRunner on each node of the cluster.

On Linux

Perform the following steps to start Adeptia Suite in Clustering Mode on Linux:

  1. Change to the directory where Adeptia Suite is installed using the following command: 

    cd /usr/local/bin/AdeptiaSuite/AdeptiaServer-6.2/ServerKernel/
  2. Ensure the startup.sh file has Execute permission using the following command: 

    ls –l startup.sh

     
  3. Execute startup.sh.

    This command starts both Kernel and Webrunner.

  4. Wait until the Kernel and WebRunner on the node is started completely.
  5. Repeat the above steps to start Kernel and WebRunner on each node of the cluster.
