Sending an AS2 Message Automatically
You can send an AS2 message automatically in response to the configured events using Triggers and the Trading Partner File Upload or Trading Partner Regex File Upload actions. The basic steps that you need to perform are to create a Trigger with "Current Time" as Event Type and select a specific Trading Partner to send files.
To send files automatically to the Trading Partners:
- Login to the JSCAPE MFT Server web interface.
- Go to the Domains tab, select the domain, and click Edit.
- Click Directory Monitors from the left menu.
- Click Add.
The Add Directory Monitor window appears. - Provide the name and the UNC path from where you want to pick the file to transfer in the Name and Directory text boxes respectively.
- Click OK.
- Now, click Triggers from the left menu.
- Click Add to add a new trigger.
The Add Trigger window appears. - Provide the name and description of the trigger in the Name and Description text boxes respectively.
- Select "Directory Monitor File Added" in the Event Type drop-down list.
- Click Next.
- Configure the trigger condition if you want to run the action associated with the trigger to execute only after the trigger condition gets satisfied.
- Click Next to add a trigger action that could to be performed on the occurrence of the event.
- Click Add.
The Add Action dialog box appears. - Select "Trading Partner Regex File Upload" from the Action drop-down list.
- Click OK.
The Add Trading Partner Regex File Upload Action window appears. - Select the Trading Partner to send the file from the Partner drop-down list.
- Browse to the folder from where you want to send the files to the Trading Partner in the Local Directory text box.
- Configure the regular expression to filter out the files to be sent to the Trading Partner in the Regular Expression text box.
- Select the directory path where the files would be stored on the Trading Partner or client machine in the Remote Directory text box.
- Configure other parameters as per the requirement and click OK.
- Click OK.
