There are two types of users that you can register in Connect: 
  • IT Users
  • Business Users
User Roles at Company Level
IT UsersBusiness Users

Have complete access to Connect

Can only view and access Partners, Transactions, and Dashboard

Manage transactions that is create, edit,

and delete templates

Can only view the transactions

Can view and access My Profile, My Company, and Users options

in an Account.

Can only access My Profile and My Company

 

Can invite users and partnersCan only invite partners

By default, partner role is IT user 

 

 

 

Perform the following steps to invite users:

  1. Click Account.

  2. Click Users



  3. Click Invite Users.



  4. Type the email id of the IT user in the Provide user email text box. <<write a note that this email will be used to register, or the user will use this email id to receive the registration link?>>
  5. Select the user role (IT or Business User) from the Select Role drop-down list.
  6. Type the note in the Note text box. <<define the significance of note, will it go as a message in mail?>>

  7. Click Send. You will receive an email from Adeptia on the registered email id. <<who will receive, the user? here the registration is done by the IT user so you should be clear?>>
  8. Open your email and check your Inbox to activate your account. <<These steps are for the User being registered>> << the steps above are being done by the IT user who is registering? >>
  9. Click Activate My Account.



  10. The registration screen appears in a new tab. Fill the details in the registration form and click Complete Registration.



    You have registered successfully. Login to Adeptia Connect.
