Audit Trail feature tracks access records and CRUD operations on various entities of Adeptia Connect. By default, Audit Trail is enabled in Adeptia Connect and only the Admin user can access and view Audit Trail logs. However, in order to allow other users to access Audit trail, you can create a new user role under GAC and give that user role permission to access Audit Trail.
The Audit Trail page provides detailed information about the following records:
- CRUD operations on the following entities:
- Users
- Partner
- Network
- Template
- Transaction
- WebForm
- User Access to Audit Trail Logs
- User Login & Logout in Adeptia Connect
Failed Login Attempt by a User
- Enabling or Disabling of Audit Trail
- Activation or Deactivation of a Transaction or Template
In case Audit Trail was disabled, you need to enable it to view it from the dashboard page.
Enabling Audit Trail
To enable/disable audit trail:
- Go to Account > My Company.
- Select Audit Trail Settings from the left pane.
- Click the toggle button to Pause or Start audit trail logging.
Adeptia connect does not record any action performed during the time Audit Trail logging is paused. Also, the user can not view the Audit Trail option on the Dashboard while it is in Pause state.
Accessing Audit Trail
To access Audit Trail logs:
- Go to the Dashboard page.
- Click Audit Trail option from the left pane.
- The page lists the recent activities in Adeptia Connect.
- To search for audit logs for a specific entity, go to advanced search. Click the arrow in the search box to do an advanced search.
- Provide the Where, Condition with values and click Search to fetch Audit Log results for a specific entity. For example, in the below image user is trying to search Audit Logs for Company.
