Defining an EDI Inbound Mapping

After defining the Source and the Destination of the Template, next step is to map the elements of the Source with the Destination.  

1. Select the mapping from the Select Mapping drop-down list and click Next. You can either use an existing mapping or create a new one.

   
   
   Click  to create a new mapping and do the following:

   1.  Provide the name and description of the mapping and click Continue.

      

       

   2. Click Yes, when prompted to confirm to open the Data Mapper.

   3. A file - startMapper.jnlp is downloaded to your computer. 
   4. Double-click the file to open the Data Mapper and map the elements in the mapper.

   5. Click Next to exit from the mapping.
      
      

2. Provide the Documentation URL. This URL will have all the information related to the Template. 

   
   

   
   

3. Click Save & Exit to save the Template.
