In case following error comes while applying the patch then you need to update jre folder manually
"Error while updating JRE due to insufficient permission or JRE is in use".
Steps to update JRE folder manually:
1. Go to the folder where Adeptia Suite is installed.
2. Rename the existing jre folder with name as jre_1_7.
3. Download the patch according to the operating system (OS) where Adeptia Suite is installed.
4. Extract patch in a folder.
5. Go to the folder where you have extracted the patch and copy either jre_win or jre_linux folder as per the OS where Adeptia Suite is installed.
6. Paste the copied jre_win or jre_linux folder in the current Adeptia Suite environment.
7. Rename the folder jre_win or jre_linux to jre.
8. Restart the Kernel and WebRunner.
