You need to start the services of disaster recovery environment in case production environment goes down due to some disaster. Follow these steps to start disaster recovery environment: 

  1. Ensure that database is connected and performing read/write operations.
  2. Check the shared drive storage availability and read/write permissions.
  3. Start Kernel and WebRunner.
  4. Open the browser and hit the URL to access Adeptia Suite.
  5. Start Tomcat.

  6. Open the browser and hit the URL to access Adeptia Connect.  

    In case you are using clustered environment then start Kernel, WebRunner, and Tomcat on all the nodes.
  7. Redirect your DNS settings to the disaster recovery environment to access Adeptia Connect.
  8. Open the browser and hit the URL to access Adeptia Connect.

Once the production environment resumes, do the following:

  1. Replicate database from the disaster recovery environment to the Production environment.
  2. Ensure that database is connected and performing read/write operations.
  3. Check the shared drive storage availability and read/write permissions.
  4. Start Kernel and WebRunner.
  5. Open the browser and hit the URL to access Adeptia Suite.
  6. Start Tomcat.
  7. Open the browser and hit the URL to access Adeptia Connect.
  8. Redirect your DNS settings to the production environment to access Adeptia Connect.
  9. Stop Kernel, WebRunner, and Tomcat in the Disaster Recovery environment.
