  • As a service
  • From Start menu/Desktop

Starting the Kernel and WebRunner as a Service

If you have installed Adeptia Suite as a service, you can start the Kernel and the WebRunner as a service in two ways:

  • Auto: Implies that the Adeptia Suite Kernel and WebRunner services will start automatically when you start the computer.
  • Manual: Implies that you have to start the Adeptia Suite Kernel and WebRunner services manually from .
    • Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
    , once you start your Windows-based operating system

    • Right-click Adeptia Kernel and then click Start.
    • Right-click Adeptia WebRunner and then click Start.

Starting the Kernel and WebRunner from Start Menu/Desktop

To stop any of the services, go to the service console window, and press Ctrl+ C that terminates all transactions instantly. If you close Kernel and WebRunner console by clicking the cross button, the Java Virtual Machine (JVM) used by Adeptia Suite may not shut down properly.
