Log files are not created and hence can't b cleared. Only other types of repository files are cleared.

Instead of waiting for the default clean-up, at any point log cleanup, you can choose to run the logs and data clean-upcleanup at any instance. This, however, does not remove the records of process flows which Process Flows that are in Running, Waiting, Ready, and or Queued state. Perform the following steps to clean - up the repository and logs instantly:.

  1. Login to Adeptia Connect.
  2. On the home page, go to Account drop-down menu.
  3. Select Maintenance.

  4. Select Logs Clean-up.
  5. Select Logs or Archived Logs based on what you want to clean up.

  6. Click Cleanup Now.
  7. In the Confirm dialog box, click Yes to continue, else click No.

  8. Click OK.

  • This cleans the logs instantly and archives them as per the retain time defined in the log-cleanup.properties file.
  • If the clean-up fails, the system throws an error message link which takes you to System Console where you can take a look at the errors in detail.

Force cleanup of process flow logs

In some cases, for example, to get rid of an error thrown during log clean-up cleanup, or to remove all the process flows from the log in one go, you may require a feature that does this for you.

Adeptia Connect allows you to remove all the process flows from the logs instantly irrespective of their state (Running, Waiting, Ready, and Queued). The deleted records are not saved in Archived Logs even if log archival is enabled.

Follow the steps given below to perform instant clean-up cleanup of all the process flows irrespective of their state:

  1. Login to Adeptia Connect.
  2. On the home page, go to Account drop-down menu.
  3. Select MaintenanceClick Account > Maintenance.
  4. Select Logs Clean-up > Logs.
  5. Click , next to Cleanup Now button and then select Force Cleanup.

  6. In the Confirm dialog box, click Yes to continue, else click No.
