A Transaction is created only for existing templates. After you choose to use the existing template, you can create a new transaction. To create a new Transaction:

Choose whether you want to create your transaction or create transaction for the partner. For creating transaction for the partner, you need to select the name of the partner for which you are creating transaction and click Save & Next.

Depending upon the source application selected in the template, you are using, you need to add an account for that application. Click to add an account. Provide the details of the account and click Save.

Provide the filter criteria (in case of Email application) or file source location (in case of FTP application) for this transaction. This is the location from where this transaction will pick the data.
Click Save to save the transaction.
